March 12, 2008: Attention all clients of my brother, Jarret Dickson. We know that you are all concerned about Jarret and we thank you so much for your love, support and thoughts. The best way you can help him is to continue your training while he is recovering and maintain the same fee schedule you have been on. We are working hard to sort through Jarret's schedule and we trainers at FFC are banding together to temporarily replace Jarret and train you. If you do not receive a call from us in the next few days, please give me a call so that we can work out a schedule for you and keep you on the right fitness track.
Additionally: FREE BODY MOVIN' TO ALL OF JARRET'S CLIENTS For all of Jarret's clients, I am offering my outdoor fitness program,
Body Movin', for as many days a week as you wish to attend, with no extra charge or fees to myself, for as long as Jarret is out. Especially if we have any trouble setting you up with a substitute training schedule, please consider this opportunity to keep up with your fitness. You may take full advantage of my Body Movin' sessions (up to 7 sessions a week offered), regardless of whether you are training with a substitute trainer. Please call me and come check it out, it's a fantastic workout and a win-win situation.
I know that nothing we can do can replace Jarret, even temporarily, but between this offer and our trainers offering to train you, we hope to provide you with training that will keep you with us and help Jarret and his family to make it through this time.
March 12, 2008: My brother has been in a serious accident. Please read
this letter if you are not already informed of the situation. You may also visit
this website (created and maintained by our little brother, John) to get the most up-to-date information and find out how you can help.
Thank you to everyone for your support and prayers. We have received so much love and I want you all to know how much we appreciate it. If you are wondering how you can help, we are currently working on setting up a fund to help with expenses and to help take care of Jarret's wife and two beautiful children, Julian and Janzen. Any gifts will be tax-deductible and will be well-managed to go where they are needed most. Jarret is going to need a lot of support in the coming weeks and months, and any help you can give will help to put my little brother's life back together.

July 23, 2007: A client, and one of my best friends, is embarking on a huge adventure that fuses fitness with philanthropy! Nina is training for the 3 day walk for breast cancer on October 19th! The 3 day walk entails walking 20 miles per day for three days, with each walker raising at least $2,200 for breast cancer research. Visit Nina's myspace page
here to learn more about the walk, and the amazing steps (pun intended) Nina is taking toward a super-fit lifestyle! You can also follow the link on that page to make a donation so that Nina can actually take those steps in October! This event is for such a worthy cause, and Nina is working her buns off (yes, literally) to get ready for the walk and raise the money to participate. We at Florida Fitness--and none more than I--are so proud of her. Let's all band together and send Nina to Tampa in October!
